Well it is now 2016 and I thought that it would be a good idea to look back on the last 12 months for ThreeSpires Physiotherapy and see how things have gone and what has changed. It really has been a fantastic year for our home visit physiotherapy service with continued patient growth, new services being offered, a new member of the team joining us and continued excellent feedback from patients.

So, without further ado, here is a brief summary of what 2015 has meant for ThreeSpires Physiotherapy...

1. Continued Growth in Patient Numbers:

Patient numbers in terms of new patients each month, visits per month and old patients returning has continued to increase throughout 2015. Overall, our home visit physiotherapy service has virtually tripled in size since 2014 which is a fantastic result for the team and shows how much of a need there is for home visit physiotherapy throughout Staffordshire and the West Midlands. The growth in patient numbers is also a testament to the quality of the physiotherapy service we provide with lots of word of mouth referrals from patients; it's always extremely satisfying to know that we are doing a good job and that patients are happy.

2. Excellent Patient feedback:

We have continued to ask patients who have used our physiotherapy service for feedback and comments and we now have an extensive range of comments and feedback that show how much we have helped our patients.

Below is one example of some recent feedback:

I first contacted ThreeSpires Physiotherapy when I was in a great deal of leg pain and did not know where to turn. The leg injury also caused nerve irritation and I could not put any weight on the leg, hardly being able to walk. However the physiotherapist came out on a bank holiday to help me and I was grateful for the speed of the appointment and the help I received in a very thorough, caring and professional manner. My injury has improved immensely and I would not hesitate to use again and I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a physio."Debbie Smith Hednesford

3. Paediatric Physiotherapy:

Due to the addition of a new team member Lisa Clapp who is a paediatric specialist and a highly experienced physiotherapist, we are now offering a children's physiotherapy provision for children from new born babies upwards.

Lisa is already proving to be an amazing addition to the ThreeSpires Physiotherapy team and our new home visit physiotherapy service for children in Staffordshire will no doubt be a huge success.

4. New Logo and Graphic Design Work

This year we have invested in a new logo and a series of pieces of new marketing material such as new letterheads, business cards and banners.

These were designed by a brilliant and highly recommended graphic designer Sarah Morley who runs a graphic design business called Design for a Day http://designforaday.co.uk/ .

She comes highly recommended and we have been extremely happy with the new logo and all the new marketing material.

5. Website Development:

The website has undergone a series of revamps this year, all aimed at making things easier to find and our services easier to understand for our patients and prospective patients. This may not sound like the most exciting development for our service but making the website accessible and easy to navigate is incredibly important for our prospective patients who are trying to decide whether or not they should try our home visit physiotherapy service. The website has been designed and maintained for the last 2 years by a great company called ewebz who come highly recommended.

6. New Advertising Methods:

This year we have continued to develop our marketing and advertising methods in order to make our service more widely known. As some of our patients do not use the internet we have been trying to let people in the wider Lichfield area know about our service through a series of leaflets that have been delivered with the magazine LookLocal. These have been a great success with some new patients commenting that they couldn't understand why they hadn't heard of us before! We are also currently able to be found in Shenstone, Whittington, Abbots Bromley and Lichfield Parish Magazines.

7. Sponsorship:

This year we dipped our toes into the world of sponsorship with Burton Swimming Club and their excellent scheme that allows firms to sponsor and support a particular swimmer. This is something that I feel particularly strongly about as I want to find ways in which ThreeSpires Physiotherapy can give back to the community that supports it. This year we will be continuing with this scheme and also will be looking to offer some sponsorship to a local sports club or community organisation.

8. Blogging:

This year I have made a concerted effort to blog more regularly and cover a wide range of topics. Although I possibly haven't been as regular as I should have been, I feel that this has certainly improved since 2014 and hopefully this year I will make my target of a weekly blog post.

Overall this has been an incredible year for ThreeSpires Physiotherapy, and I can't wait to see what 2016 will bring! For anyone who has not come across our service before, we are a home visit physiotherapy service based in Lichfield and serving anywhere within 25 minutes including areas such as Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Burton, Rugeley and Cannock. We offer a wide range of physiotherapy services including orthopaedic rehab, neurological physiotherapy, paediatric physiotherapy, sports massage and elderly mobility improvement.
