ThreeSpires Physiotherapy was started by Dave Pinnington in 2013 after moving to Lichfield to begin a family and finding that there was a lack of high-quality physiotherapy available to patients at home, in care homes and in the community. From this ThreeSpires Physiotherapy was born and we began trying to help patients across Staffordshire and the West Midlands with a wide range of problems including help with back pain, improving mobility and recovery after having a stroke

Initially the service began with just Dave as the sole physiotherapist seeing patients in Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Rugeley and Walsall but very quickly things, through word of mouth and patient recommendations, had grown to a point where more physios were needed both to see existing patients and offer a wider range of services such as paediatric physiotherapy.

Currently ThreeSpires Physiotherapy has now expanded to a point where we now employ 5 physiotherapists and one physiotherapy assistant with plans to recruit another physiotherapist and physio assistant in the pipeline. We treat patients from very young toddlers (thanks to our paediatric physio) to the very elderly with reduced mobility and a wide range of neurological conditions. Also, we have an excellent physiotherapy assistant who is able to deliver ongoing exercises and help patients when they no longer have the need to see a full physiotherapist.

Over the years we have built up excellent relationships with care and nursing homes across the area and this has enabled us to develop new services aimed at maximising the potential of residents at these homes. We now deliver weekly physiotherapy sessions in 3 care homes aimed at targeting patients who staff have identified as needing physiotherapy. Lastly, we have also been delivering staff training sessions at a care home aimed at preventing joint contractures in residents. Updated 08/03/2024
